What We Offer

At the John Finney Education Complex, we house multiple programs, including the Independent Study Academy, VCUSD Virtual Academy, Everest Academy, and John Finney High School.

Serving students with Individualized Education Plans (IEP), Everest Academy maintains a low staff-to-student ratio so that students have access to support at every turn of the day. Students on the Everest campus can range from middle school grades to post-high school as they transition into the workforce.

The Independent Study Academy (ISA) is designed for students who need an alternative to the traditional high school setting. ISA offers two tracks: Independent and Innovation. In both, students work with credentialed teachers and complete coursework aligned with their grade level at a traditional high school.

Serving elementary students from transitional kindergarten through fifth grade, and driven by strong leadership, the Virtual Academy maintains an administrative team at the John Finney Educational Complex to assist families who may require online learning solutions.
